Adaptive Otsu paper detection → hard key → despeckle → defringe against the measured paper colour, via the shared IcZ.Reader.ImageCleanup (same code as the PDF signature import). Original extents preserved; coloured fills stay opaque.
Transparent background (remove white)
Emit a transparent EMF so keyed pixels stay clear in the OLE frame. Pairs with Clean logos; off = a white matte (guaranteed-pristine path).
